Description
Six Montreal educational institutes will be joining the Global Pink Hijab Day with other universities around the world on Wednesday, October 29th, a fundraising and awareness effort for Breast Cancer Research. At McGill, Concordia, UQAM, UdeM, John Abbott College and Vanier College, organizers will sport hijabs to support women diagnosed with breast cancer.

The idea is to stand in solidarity by wearing a pink hijab against a disease that does not discriminate. What a woman wears does not change her female identity. Breast cancer can kill anyone.

Funds will be raised at the six campuses (i.e., McGill, Concordia, UQAM, UdeM, John Abbott and Vanier). Tables will be set up on campus. Visit them and get your PINK scarf to support the cause!!

ALL WOMEN ARE INVITED TO SUPPORT THE CAUSE BY WEARING A PINK HIJAB ON THAT DAY REGARDLESS OF WHERE THEY MAY BE IN MONTREAL ON WEDNESDAY THE 29TH. MEN ARE ALSO ENCOURAGED TO WEAR A PINK RIBBON ON THAT DAY.
