Some idioms for you !
1. What is "a cup of Joe"?
A mug of strong coffee
2. What is "a deadline"?
The final time when something has to be ready.
3. What does it mean to "go the extra mile"?
To make an extra effort to achieve something
4. What is a "Graveyard shift"?
Phrase for a late-night work shift
5. What is a "hat trick"?
Three consecutive scores by one player (foot ball)
6. What is the "Green room"?
The room where actors wait before they go on stage
7. What is a "nerd"?
A student who studies excessively
8. What is "a raincheck"?
To move a planned meeting
9. What is a "scapegoat"? (bouc émissaire)
Someone who gets the blame for a scandal or a mistake
10. What is a "backseat driver"?
A person sitting in the backseat of a car advising the driver how to drive.

Personnellement j'ai connu que deux : Deadline et le truc du foot mais sans connaitre son orthographe .. le reste que de nouveaux ajouts
